The answer is B: soon. The word<em> soon</em> is an adverb of time, which informs <em>when</em> something happened. The bird drew attention: when? soon (before long; quickly). <em>Adverbs are words that modify other words or whole sentences</em><em>.  They are adverbs of place, manner, degree, condition etc. Lonely</em> and<em> perched</em> are adjectives and <em>drew</em> is a verb.
