Option "A" is the correct one, since Haiti suffered from different violent events   until Haitian people finally won its independence in 1804.  Haitian people had gone through a series of conflicts between the British armies, the French colonizers and the Haitian slaves as well as other parties which struggled so as to become free from European oppression. After defeating its former colonizers, the French, Haitian people became the first country to be founded by former slaves. Nevertheless, it was not until 1825 that France recognized Haiti's independence.

Therevolution ofHaiti was a revolt against the anti-slavery and anti-colonial rule against the French colonial rule of Saint Domingue initiated by the self-liberated slaves. The revolt began on 22nd August 1791 and ended with the Haiti independence in 1804. The revolt involved the French, Spanish, Black, Mullattoes and British against the slaves led by  Toussaint L Ouverture as it emerging charismatic hero. It was the effort of the slaves uprising that led to the formation of an independent state free from slavery and colonial rule.

Thousand of slaves of the Domingue attended a secret ceremony of the midnight of the 21st August and took a promising omen for the demise of slavery and the same night the slaves started to kill the owners and dived a civil war in the colony. DuttyBoukman, priest of Vodou and the headman of the Maroon slaves gave the signal to initiate the revolt.  

Within ten-day slaves took control over the entire northern provinces. The revolt and the conflict between the French troops and the salves continued till the Haitian got its independence in 1804.

How did galileo's work come into conflict with the church and how was that resolved

Galileo's problem was that he was trying to teach people science which was in conflict with what the church preached. When he started questioning the church and providing scientific results the people started questioning as well which did not bode well for the church. The conflict got resolved with him abandoning his research and living a quite secluded life until he died.
