Asia provided more invention than Africa did such as the compass which made traveling much easier back then and is still used to this day. Asia also invented paper which most of us can't live without. It is used everyday by millions of people and it all started in Asia. Paper can be used for writing, printing, folding, for paper towels and for toilet paper. Many people say that Africa contributed more because they created spears and other small weapons, but Asia created iron weapons. I think that we can all agree that we would feel safer with an iron sword rather than a measly old spear. One of the most important contributions was silk. They taught the world how to harvest silk, and they also were the ones to figure out how to turn it into paper, kites, clothing, fans, and many other articles out of it. The also contributed the first rudder, planetarium, an item for counting called an abacus, water powered blast furnace, and acupuncture.
