The first and third graphs inverse will still be functions  (although the first is iffy as it is hard to tell if when any x values are equal, if there are equal x values it will not be a function because then there will be multiple y values for a single x value.  In simpler terms, if there is a truly horizontal line in that first graph, its inverse will not be a function as it will fail the vertical line test.)

The second graph will not be a function as each x value will have two y values, so it fails "the vertical line test".

Allison claims that the ABQ is similar to RPQ, given that AB and PR are parallel.
Marta_Voda [28]
Let's see the important definitions you find in your options:- alternate interior angles are found when two parallel lines are crossed by a transversal, and they are inside the two lines on opposite sides of the transversal;- vertically opposite angles are found when two lines cross and they are the ones facing each other;- corresponding angles are found when two parallel lines are crossed by a transversal, and they are on matching corners.
Looking at the picture we can say that:a) 1 and 2 are vertically opposite angles;b) ABQ and QPR are alternate interior angles;c) BAQ and QRP are alternate interior angles.
Hence, Allison's correct claims are:1 = 2 because they are vertically opposite angles. BAQ = QRP because they are alternate interior angles.

One of the slowest fish is the blenny
Gwar [14]

Answer:

It swims 1.75 miles in 3.5 hours. X stands for hours so x=3.5. Y stands for miles so y=1.75.

Step-by-step explanation:

your equation is y=0.5x

we know x=3.5

so y= 0.5(3.5)

solve and you get y= 1.75

so in (x,y) intercept format (3.5,1.75) and you can make a graph and label your x intercepts hours and your y intercepts miles traveled.

The period 7 (in seconds) of a pendulum is given by T = 2pi√( L divided by 32) where L stands for the length (in feet) of the pe
oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:

128 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

t = 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{l}{32} }

So now we will substitute the values of T and π into the equation.

12.56 = 2 \times 3.14 \sqrt{ \frac{l}{32} }

12.56 = 6.28 \sqrt{ \frac{l}{32} }

Divide both sides by 6.28

2 =  \sqrt{ \frac{l}{32} }

Square both sides.

4 =  \frac{l}{32}

Multiply both sides by 32

l = 4 \times 32 \\ l = 128 \: feets
