he winner. Sally received 25% of the total votes and lost by 62,500 votes. No person in the audience was allowed to vote more than once. The equation below represents this situation, where y is the total number of votes cast and x is the number of votes Maya received:

Anika [276]

a) Is the twitch - initial positive twitch or sudden movement, which is what makes the car jolt into action.

b) is the acceleration - graph shows the acceleration and deceleration of the car.

c) is the velocity - starts at 0 and increases until the car travels at its right speed.

d) is the position - assuming that the car is going on only one direction. This graph is the only one that does not go back to the x-axis.

The probability that a train leaves on time is 0.4. The probability that the train arrives on time and leaves on time is 0.28. W
Y_Kistochka [10]
You need to use the conditional probability formula:
P(A|B) = P(A∩B) / P(B)
Key:
P(A|B): Probability of A given B
P(A∩B): Probability of A and B

If we say A is the event that the train arrives on time and B is the event that the train leaves on time, then according to the information:
P(B) = 0.4
P(A∩B) = 0.28
Just insert into the formula:
P(A|B) = 0.28 / 0.4 = 0.7
(or 70% as a percentage).
