I would say 99 feet.  An elevation of 20 feet above the ground is the starting point.  Then as the coaster rises 83 feet, you add 20 + 83 = 103 feet.  Then it drops 42 feet.  103 - 42 = 61 feet.  Then it rises 128 feet on the second hill.  61 + 128 = 189 feet.  Finally, it drops 90 feet.  189 - 90 = 99 feet above the ground after the second hill.

Initially started 20 feet from the ground .
Went uphill 83 feet.
So: 20 + 83 = 103. The coaster is 103 ft above at this point.

Went down 42 feet
So: 103 - 42 = 61.

Went up 128 feet
So: 61 + 128 = 189

Finally, went down 90 feet
So: 189 - 90 = 99

99 ft above ground.

Zielflug [23.3K]

Answer:

The answer is (C)

The equation of the circle is (x + 4)² + (y - 6)² = 81

Step-by-step explanation:

* To find the equation of the circle you need to know

the center of the circle and the length of its radius

* The rule of the equation of the circle is:

  (x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²

Where x and y is a general point on the circle,

h and k are the coordinates of the center of the circle

and r is the radius of the circle

∵ The center of the circle is (-4 , 6)

∵ The radius of the circle is 9

∴ (x - -4)² + (y - 6)² = 9²

∴ ( x + 4)² + (y - 6)² = 81

∴ The answer is (C)

Write 537 in the base six system
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

2253 in base 6.

Step-by-step explanation:

The place values in base 6 are:

1, 6, 36, 216, 1296  and so on.

We have 537 in base 10 so we first find how many 216's there are in 537:

537 / 216 = 2 remainder  105

Now 105 / 36 = 2 remainder 33

33 / 6 = 5 remainder 3.

So the answer is  2253 in base 6.
