The third statement is hard to prove. Number one is not biased nor is two because it is probable though the word often is not very specific. Four is provable- there would be enough data to see who the bookmobile primarily serves. But there it is hard to prove that education is taken less seriously among the lower-income population. The third is the biased statement.

irina1246 [14]

Answer:

Three features of the Reign of Terror:

  • Revolutionary extremism: during the Reign of Terror, which is part of the French Revolution, some extremes measures were taken in the name of the revolution: for example, the calendar was measured, and measurement standards were modified as well.
  • Anti-clericalism: the revolutionaries were anti-clerical, that is to say: they hated the Catholic Church (the dominant Church in France). Many clerics were executed during this time.
  • General paranoia: the revolutionary leaders were becoming increasingly paranoid, to the point that they executed many people on very thin accusations of treason.

Tomtit [17]

Answer:

C). Mrs. Bennet has ample fortune to support her unmarried daughters for the rest of their lives.

Explanation:

The inference that readers can draw from the given paragraph would be that 'Mrs. Bennet had adequate fortune to back her unmarried daughters for the rest of their life.' <u>This inference can be made from the description like 'property consisted almost entirely in an estate of two thousand a year</u>', 'ample for her situation in life', etc. At that time, only male heirs or a distant relative(in absence of male heir) were allowed to inherit the property and therefore, the daughters sadly had no right to inherit their paternal estate or property. This is the reason why Mrs. Bennet looks for guys with 'possession of a good fortune' for marrying her daughters in order to fulfill this deficiency. Thus,<u> option C</u> is the correct answer.
