Charlemagne united Western Europe with other European regions after the Roman Empire. During his ruling, the Carolingian Renaissance was fostered within the Church. French and German monarchies viewed themselves as descendants of Charlemagne's empire. The support Charlemagne gave to the Church, made the Pope consider him as a legitimate Roman Emperor.

Charlemagne united the Germanic people under one kingdom. After Charlemagne unified the Germanic people he sought to spread Christianity throughout his kingdom. Charlemagne was a defender of Christianity and gave money, protection and land to the Christian church. HE provided additional support for the church by strengthening the hierarchical structure of the church, clarifying the powers of its officials and improving intellectual and moral quality of the clergy. In return Pope Leo III crowned Charlemagne emperor of the Romans on December 25, 800 at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. This relationship was mutually beneficial. The church received financial support and had its standing in society legitimized. The church helped Charlemagne to unify the Germanic people under a common religion and the positive press he received from the church helped to strengthen his public perception.

Answer:

a. Biological

Explanation:

In psychology, the Biological perspective is a perspective that takes into account the physical factors that can influence behavior or psychological development. In other ways, it explains physical and psychological development based on physical factors people are exposed to.

In this example, Dr. Penrose is studying the reflexes that infants exhibit at or shortly after birth (which is something physical) and she speculates how this reflexes were important for infants survival. Since she is taking a physical factor into consideration to explain infants' survival, this would be an example of a Biological perspective.

When you agree with the ideas expressed by an author, it is ethical to use them without giving credit to the source?
shepuryov [24]
No, it is unethical to use another author's ideas without crediting his or her work or literature. Failing to credit an author's work in your own work is known as plagiarism. Plagiarism has serious and sometimes even legal consequences in both educational institutions and beyond that in the corporate world and publishing industries. To avoid plagiarism and remain ethical it is best to quote ideas given by another author and clearly state the source from which you are quoting the author's work.

Why did it take so long for an active civil rights movement to begin in the LGBT community?
Troyanec [42]

Answer:

The adaptation of the laws was significantly delayed with respect to sociocultural development. The equalization of homosexuals was part and consequence of a liberalization of sexuality with respect to cultural traditions, which have been losing importance during the twentieth century and that gave way to the concept of individual sexual freedom. The emancipation of homosexuals began in the USA. UU. during world war II. Important milestones along the way were the study Male sexual behavior (1948) by Alfred Kinsey, the foundation of the Mattachine Society (1950), the civil rights movement (1955-1968), some of whose promoters would later become activists homosexuals, the Stonewall riots (1969), the creation of fighting organizations, such as the Gay Liberation Front (1969), the elimination of homosexuality from the catalog of diseases of the Psychiatric Association of the United States (1973), the reorientation of the movement gay during the AIDS crisis (since 1981), the inclusion of minorities, such as transsexuals (since the 1990s), and the struggle for gay marriage in the 21st century.
