Huck tells us how, when he returned to the Widow's house, she cried and hugged him but immediately began to try to civilize him again. She also teaches him about religion. ... 2.The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn takes place before the Civil War in the American South. As an “adventure,” Huck's story is a defined by movement. ...
