An ancient realm in Nubia, around southern Egypt, what today would be probably Sudan, <em>"The Kingdom of Kush"</em>, whose culture was strongly influenced by the Egyptians in the past, but when the Kingdom of Egypt was at a low point, they took over as rulers and became guardians of that culture, keeping the language, politics and values as their own, likely because they saw themselves reflected on those.
The people of The Kingdom of Kush are also known as <em>The Kush(i)tes</em>.
It would be the term "bear market" that refers to a period of time when stocks are generally losing value, since "bull market" is used to describe a period when the stock market is doing well.
