There’s no point of buying that and wasting more money. You could just buy a HDMI port and plug it in right away from the HDMI in port on the play station to your HDMI out port on the tv.
Probably, most likely yes. this is just basically adding a bit of extra length. the ps4 port goes in the end and the part for the tv acts as a hdmi cord.
