Can someone write me a 1 minute and a half speech about fear? Thank you
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

Please do not copy but revise my statement to use in your speech. Thank you!

Explanation:

Fear, What is it? How do we develop it? How do we overcome it? Fear may seem to you as nothing and it may seem to me as everything. If you were to try something new, like going fishing, you may be excited to try it but also a little worried a fish might eat your bait and pull you in because of its size. Fear could be something as small as a nightmare to something as big as being killed. I mean who wouldn't be terrified of being killed! Fear is something that might make up who you are. Like you could be naturally awkward because you might be scared of talking to people or making new friends. That would be a great example of fear. You might not realize it but everybody is afraid of something. Now i'm not going to ask you what you are afraid of but i'm just going to say you are afraid of something. Fear can be a phobia, a past event, a disease, a food, an item, maybe even a person. I could go on and on about fear and what it is or what it could be. The real definition of fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. You can interpret fear to be anything you want it to be. Fear could be a living thing, a dead thing, a small thing, or a large thing. I'm going to leave this speech about fear right here because i want you to think about fear. Fear is everything.

Define your idea of honesty . Explain any possible obstacle and adjustments you may have to make in order to stay motivated to d
dybincka [34]

Answer:

Explanation:

Honesty encompasses a certain number of values which may include being open on cases, being truthful when giving verdict, being trustworthy when placed in charge or control of a venture, Honesty also covers keeping to one's words, hence an honest person could be said to exhibit probity and many other virtues of goodness.

However, to exhibit these virtues in such a tempting environment where honesty seems to be impracticable quality due to growing societal decay, immorality and regular injustice upholding these virtues requires a strong zeal and desire to stand with the truth nearing in mind that it will ultimately prevail.

According to your textbook, what kind of supporting materials are used in the following speech excerpt: Not all Hollywood marria
Doss [256]

This question is missing the options. I've found the complete question online. The options are as follows:

[...] Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have been together for 23 years, as have Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. Denzel and Pauletta Washington have been married for 28 years, Billy and Janice Crystal for 41 years, and Bill and Camille Cosby for 47 years.

A. brief examples

B. synthetic examples

C. repetitive examples

D. enumerated examples

E. informative examples

Answer:

The kind of supporting materials being used in the excerpt is:

A. brief examples .

Explanation:

The purpose of using brief examples is to simply further illustrate or demonstrate something to the audience that they may not know, that is not so obvious to them. That is precisely what we have in the excerpt we are analyzing here. The speaker merely wishes to show his/her audience that there are several couples in Hollywood who have been married for quite some time. There is no need to used, for instance, an extended example here. What has been said so far is not so complex as to demand a lengthy example. Notice that the speaker is not necessarily enumerating the couples, nor is he/she providing two much information about them. Their names and how long they've been married are briefly stated, which is enough for the purpose of illustrating the affirmation that "Not all Hollywood marriages are doomed to quick failure."
