Find the x when the longest side of triangle is 2
daser333 [38]

Answer:

x=\sqrt{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Here , since we have a right triangle then using the Pythagorean theorem is valid choice.

therefore , x² + x² = 2² ⇔ 2x² = 4 ⇔ x² = 2 ⇔ x = √(2)

if the side of a traingular fiels is in ratio of 6:9:10. if it perimeter is 2500m what is the area of that field
Elena L [17]

Answer:

266634.11 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The following information is given in the question

The ratio of the side of the triangular fields is 6:9:10

And, the perimeter is 2500m

We need to find the area of that field

So

Let us assume the 3 sides be x

Here so the sides be 6x,9x, 10x

Now the perimeter = sum of the length of all sides

2500 = 6x + 9x + 10x

2500 = 25x

x = 100

The three sides would be 600,900 and 1000

Now the area of that field would be

As we know that

The Area of the triangle as per the Heron Formula is

= \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)} \\\\= \sqrt{1250(1250-600)(1250-900)(1250-1000)} \\\\= \sqrt{1250(650)(350)(250)} \\\\= \sqrt{71093750000}

=  266634.11 m^2

Anyone know the answer?
Alika [10]
Well if you notice, 48, x, and x are all on the same line, so they must add up to equal 180 degrees. So...

2x + 48 = 180
2x = 132
x = 66

So each x is equal to 66 degrees. Now we know the triangle is a right triangle, and the sum of all interior angles must be equal to 180 degrees for a triangle. So...

66 + 90 + z = 180
156 + z = 180
z = 24

Z equals 24 degrees! I hope this helps!

Which pairs of quadrilaterals can be shown to be congruent using rigid motions?
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

1 and 2 are not congruent; 1 and 3 are congruent; 1 and 4 are congruent; 2 and 3 are not congruent; 2 and 4 are not congruent; 3 and 4 are congruent.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the diagram, we can see that the angle measures and side measures of figures 1, 3 and 4 are the same.  This means that these three figures are congruent.  Figure 2, however, is not congruent to any of the other 3.
