I believe the answer is D.

The other answers would not make sense, because we do not know what kind of triangle we are looking at and none of the lines are parallel or perpendicular. Therefore we need two angles. C would not work, because if we knew A or B, we would know that the two angles are supplementary. If we had A, then B is 180-A, and vice versa. We do not need both A and B.

Two sides of a triangle measure 25 cm and 35 cm. What is the meadure of the third side?
SpyIntel [72]

Answer:

43cm

Step-by-step explanation:

use the pythagorean theorem:

a² + b² = c²

25² + 35² = c²

625 + 1225 = c²

1850 = c²

√1850 = c

43 cm = c

your a, b and c values depend on where the values are on the triangle.

A baker makes apple tarts and apple pies each day. Each tart, t, requires 1 apple, and each pie, p, requires 8 apples. The baker
Lynna [10]
For this case, the first thing we must do is define variables.
 We have then:
 t: number of tarts
 p: number of pies
We now write the system of equations:
Each tart, t, requires 1 apple, and each pie, p, requires 8 apples. The baker receives a shipment of 184 apples every day:
 8p + t ≤ 184
the baker makes no more than 40 tarts per day:
 t ≤ 40
 Answer:
A system of inequalities that can be used to find the possible number of pies and tarts the baker can make is:
 D. t ≤ 40
 8p + t ≤ 184
