Answer:

Stanzas of the song ‘revolutionary tea’ end with a phrase repeating three times because it is based on the format of English country song that uses repetition to improve the quality of the song.

Explanation:

Every stanza of the song ‘revolutionary tea’ has a phrase repeated three times at its end. In the 1750s and early 1760s the British was under severe financial crisis due to several wars. They then decided that the people of the colonies should share some costs.

Taxes were imposed and when people of American colony found it unfair many were repealed after debate and discussion. Finally the only tax that remained was the tea tax. Though it was not a heavy one people revolted against it too. It was on this background the ‘revolutionary tea’ song emerged.

lutik1710 [3]

Answer: Magna Carta is one of the foundations of democracy.

Explanation:

The Magna Carta, in free vocabulary, was a document that brought equal justice to all. According to this document, things in medieval England changed so that everyone was equal before the law. The Magna Carta also implied the fact that in the future, even the king himself could not bear the consequences if he broke the law. The Magna Carta, as such, contains elements of democracy and the rule of law.
