It is considered the beginning of these demonstrations on December 17, 2010 in the City of Tunis, when a street vendor (Mohamed Bouazizi) was stripped by the police of his merchandise and savings accounts and in response, he immolated himself in the form of a protest. During its agony thousands of Tunisians rebelled against the bad conditions to which the country was subjected, causing a domino effect in the rest of the Arab nations.
