12(3-2x) = 84

do distributive multiplication:

12(3) + 12(-2x) = 84
36 - 24x = 84

Deduct 36 to both sides

36 - 36 - 24x = 84 - 36
-24x = 48

divide -24 to both sides

-24x / -24 = 48/-24
x = -2

To check:
12(3-2x) = 84
12(3-2(-2) = 84
12(3+4) = 84
12(7) = 84
84 = 84

Graph the line with the given point and slope. the line that passes (2,-2) with slope 1/4
netineya [11]
Point-slope equation of a line:

y - yo  =  m(x - xo)
Where m is the slope (1/4) and (xo,yo)=(2,-2)

y + 2 =  \frac{1}{4} (x - 2)
y + 2 =  \frac{1}{4} x -  \frac{1}{2}
y =  \frac{1}{4} x -  \frac{5}{2}
The y-intercept is -5/2, the graph is shown in the photo.

Juan went to the store to buy a plant for his mother, but forgot to ask which kind to get. Out of 30 plants, eighteen of them ar
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

Probability [Randomly choose plant Juan's mother want] = 3 / 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Total number of plant in store = 30 plants

Number of plant kind Juan's mother want = 18

Find:

Probability [Randomly choose plant Juan's mother want]

Computation:

Probability of an event = Number of favorable outcome / Total number of outcomes

Probability [Randomly choose plant Juan's mother want] = Number of plant kind Juan's mother want / Total number of plant in store

Probability [Randomly choose plant Juan's mother want] = 18 / 30

Probability [Randomly choose plant Juan's mother want] = 3 / 5
