Inattentional blindness

This is a mental absence of consideration that isn't related with any vision deformities or shortages. It might be additionally characterised as the occasion in which an individual neglects to see a surprising boost right before his/her eyes . When it basically winds up outlandish for one to take care of the considerable number of stimuli in a circumstance, an impermanent visual deficiency impact can occur subsequently; that is, people neglect to see articles or jolts that are startling and frequently notable.

Answer:

Ego integrity versus despair

Explanation:

Ego integrity versus despair: In psychology, the term has been introduced by a psychologist named Erik Erikson and is considered as the last or the eighth stage in his theory of psychosocial development. This stage starts in the late adulthood period of an individual's life i.e, around sixty-five years of age and lasts through or ends at the death of the person.

During this period or stage, an individual tends to contemplate his or her accomplishments and therefore develops a sense of ego integrity if he or she sees oneself as leading a very successful life and develops despair if he or she feels of not leading a successful life.

The ________ theory of personality emphasizes conscious thought processes, self-regulation, and the importance of situational in
olga_2 [115]

'The Social cognitive perspective theory of personality emphasizes conscious thought processes, self-regulation, and the importance of situational influences.

Self-regulation is the ability to understand and control one's own actions and reactions. Self-regulation helps children and young people learn how to behave, get along with others, and be independent. Self-regulation begins to develop rapidly in early childhood and preschool age.

In psychology, self-regulation means regulation not only by the self, but by the self. For example, we actively regulate or control whether we go to the gym, whether we eat cake, whether we maintain a positive attitude.

“Self-regulation refers to the self-directed process by which learners transform their intellectual competencies into task-relevant competencies” (Zimmerman, 2001). It is the method or process that learners use to manage and organize their thoughts and transform them into the skills they use to learn.

According to paul von hindenburg, one of the two basic qualities that determine leadership ability is ______.
Zinaida [17]

According to paul von hindenburg, one of the two basic qualities that determine leadership ability is intelligence (bright versus dull).

What was Paul's trait theory?

 • An interesting application of trait theory was practiced by Paul Von Hindenburg, war hero and second president of post-World War I Germany.
 • Von Hindenburg used a form of trait theory for selecting and developing leaders.
 • He believed that leadership ability was determined by two primary qualities – intelligence (bright versus dull) and vitality (energetic versus lazy).
 • He used a box to evaluate potential military leaders on these two dimensions
 • If an individual was deemed to be bright and energetic, he was developed as a field commander, because it takes judgment and gumption to succeed as a leader on the battlefield.
 • If the individual was deemed to be energetic but dull, he was assigned to duty as a frontline soldier where activity was needed but dullness could be tolerated in a non-leadership position.
 • If the individual was believed to be bright but lazy, he was assigned to be a staff officer, because intelligence is important for developing a creative strategy that others may implement.

Describe a situation in which you were able to use persuasion to successfully convince someone to see things your way.
solniwko [45]

Example:

For all the right reasons, a person wants to start going to the gym but their parents can't be easily convinced since it costs a pretty penny and doesn't seem to figure out why's it necessary for their son/daughter to go to the gym right away. A person that's in terrible need to do it starts persuading parents into realizing that workouts are good for the overall wellbeing of mind and body and will be quite useful for better concentration in school, increasing energy, reducing the risk of chronic disease and is good for health in general.

Eventually, the parents will see all the benefits of it and will be easily persuaded because they'd do all for the wellbeing of their child.
