Bear flag Revolt
Explanation:
Known as the Bear Flag Revolt, a reference to the short-lived republic’s flag, this event was something between an American invasion and a miniature war of independence. Though the fighting was limited and the country it established lasted less than a month, the Bear Flag Revolt led directly to the American acquisition of what is now its most populous state.
The purpose was to establish a government.
The border between the North Korea and South Korea is the most aggressively contested border right now. Even though the Korean war has ended the stand off between this two countries are so evident and Korean border has been the most armed since.
The result of the attack on for the Fort Wagner by the 54th Massachusetts regiment <em>showed that African Americans had the courage to fight.</em>They were the first major American military units that were made up of black soldiers.
Muskets and cannons blazed through a veil of smoke and blowing sand.Hand grenades showered down as the 54th charged. As artillery shredded the regiment, Shaw shouted, “Onward, boys!” The Union force climbed the earthen ramparts, and fierce hand-to-hand fighting ensued.As soon as Shaw reached the crest of the parapet, though, he was struck by bullets and mortally wounded.
Racial Inequality and segregated bus terminals.
The original purpose of the Freedom Riders was to go through Southern bus terminals to protest the injustice. During their trip, they were brutally attacked by White Southerners leading to public outcry. The Freedom Riders helped challenge and remove segregation in America.
