a) The d stands for distance and t stands for time. As Distance = Speed x Time, 65 in this case would be the speed.

b) Distance = Speed x Time

d = 65 x 1.5 hours

Distance = 97.5 miles

c) Now we find t. Time = Distance/ Speed

t = 26/65

t = 0.4 hours

0.4 x 60 to get minutes

= 24 minutes

Two equations are given below:
Ostrovityanka [42]
A - 3b = 4 . . . . (1)
a = b - 2 . . . . . (2)
Putting (2) into (1), we have
b - 2 - 3b = 4
-2b = 4 + 2 = 6
b = 6/-2 = -3
From (1), a = b - 2 = -3 - 2 = -5
Hence, solution = (-5, -3)
