Ginkgo nuts (Gymnosperm) are starchy, low in fat, protein, but high in vitamin C. it is a part of Chinese cooking.

Araucaria is another gymnosperm which has nuts. Nuts size is twice the size of almonds. Nuts are rich in starch and eaten roasted, boiled, or raw in Chile and Argentina.

Seaweeds are brown algae found in marine environment. They are used as food in different parts of the world.

Mushrooms are fungi and they are widely used as food all over the world.
