Let the original triangle be ∆ABC

Dilated triangle be ∆DEF

Find attached the diagram.

All sides of the triangle are scaled by the same factor when we apply a dilation.

DE = 2 × AB

EF = 2 × BC

DF = 2 × AC

∠A = ∠D

∠B = ∠E

∠C = ∠F

Dilation also known as scaling does not affect angle measure. The angle measures remain the same.
