How does the sun compare to other stars on the HR diagram in terms of brightness and temperature

Biology

Sonbull [250]3 years ago

Weighted by the stellar luminosity function, the sun is somewhat above the average temperature and very much above the average luminosity. Only 4% of main sequence stars are significantly brighter and hotter than the sun. About 6% of main sequence stars are about the same brightness and temperature. About 90% of main sequence stars are significantly dimmer and cooler than the sun. However, most of our galaxy's light (about 88%) comes from spectral type B stars, even though only one star in each thousand stars belongs to this type.

Marina86 [1]

Answer:

a) the same number of cells in both

Explanation:

In cells reproduction, in both cases we consider the same specie, the same generation time, and we assume the same broth.

The only advantage of the container with more milliliters of nutrients is that when the population increases, it will need more nutrients, so maybe the reproduction rate in the container with 100 ml will be lower.

But if the temperature, the quantity of nutrients are the same in both containers, so the volume is not a variable to affect the speed or low the reproduction rate.
