Amniotomy known as the artificial rupture of membranes is a procedure where amniotic sac is ruptured causing release of amniotic fluid to induce labor. This is usually done at bedside. There are complications such as cord prolapse, infection or amnionitis and chorioamniotis and if the mother is attach to the monitor she can inform the nurse if the heartbeat of the baby is already below normal as one complication would be low fetal heartbeat.

Lesechka [4]

Answer:

Megaloblastic anemia is as a result of deficiency of mature red blood cells characterized by red blood cells that are larger than normal.

Explanation:

Megaloblastic anemia is a type of anemia (blood disorder) resulting from the number of red blood cells being lower than normal. This red blood cells aid in the transportation oxygen round the body. Megaloblastic anemia is as a result of deficiency of mature red blood cells characterized by red blood cells that are larger than normal. It is caused by deficiency in vitamin B-12 or folate which are necessary for producing healthy red blood cells. Since red blood cells are too large, they are not produced properly, as a result oxygen is not distributed properly.
