What practices should be exercised to ensure food safety? Check all that apply.
Vanyuwa [196]

Answer:

Purchasing products before their sell by date, selecting fruits that are damage free and washing vegetables before you consume them.

Explanation:

Buying meat in leaking packages

⇒It is never a good idea to buy food from packages that are tampered with, discolored, or damaged. This could mean that the food is unsafe to eat, or there is bacteria inside the package.

Purchasing products before their "sell by" date

⇒This is a good choice. The sell by date tells the consumer when the product should be purchased by.

Selecting fruits that are damage free

⇒This is another good choice. Damaged fruits can have pathogens and bacteria inside of them, so you should always buy damage free fruits.

Purchasing products after their "use buy" date

⇒This is not a good idea. The use buy dates tells consumers when a product should be used buy. If you buy a product after the use buy date, it could be spoiled or expired.

Washing vegetables before you consume them.

⇒This is a great choice. Vegetables and fruits should always be washed. Sometimes they can have pesticides or even bugs on them from when they were growing.

Therefore, the best choices are: Purchasing products before their sell by date, selecting fruits that are damage free and washing vegetables before you consume them.

The results of a norm group comparison test can do all of the following EXCEPT:
Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

The best answer to the question: The results of a norm group comparison test can do all of the following EXCEPT:___, would be, D: Allow you to assess whether or not a particular individual has improved in a specific area being tested using only the results of the one test.

Explanation:

The reason for this being the answer comes from the nature of norm group testing itself. Because the purpose is to set a standard by which testing groups are being compared, regarding their numerical scores, it is not possible to ascertain, or even tell, if a person has improved on specific areas of knowledge. Tests that are built with this reference of norm groups will only measure the overall performance of a student, or group of students, in comparisson to a mean, or a standard (norm) group, through a numerical score. This is why the answer is D.

Jeff has learned from his urologist that his kidney disease has progressed to renal failure and that he must include dialysis in
astraxan [27]

Answer:

The Kidneys are the body's filter as the purify the blood of waste products and certain fluids and salt.

When renal failure occurs, it means that the kidneys will no longer be able to filter the blood like they used to. When this happens one can either get a kidney transplant or they can use a Hemodialysis machine.

This machine filters the blood instead by drawing blood via a needle from the patient and then sending it back in after purifying it in the machine. The machine comes with its own risks however such as blood loss.

It is also recommended that a trained medical professional be the one to operate the machine so as to direct it on what to clean and how long the blood should be cleaned for.

There are indeed potable hemodialysis machines that can be used at home but it is recommended that one do it at a medical center because it would be best to have a trained professional on hand if there are issues such as blood loss, loss of consciousness or an inaccurately set time limit.
