A) area of square = base*height/////Triangle= 0.5*base*height

=(a^1/3*b^3/4)*(a^2/3*b^1/2)+(1/2*a^1/3*b^3/4*a^2/3*b^1/4)
=(a^1*b^5/4)+(1/2*a^1*b^1)
=(a*b^5/4)+(1/2*a*b)

B) a^2+b^2=c^2 (pythagorean theorem)
   ((27^2/3)*(16^1/4))^2 +  (27^1/3)*(16^3/4)
     (9*2=(18^2))=324 +  (3*8= 24^2)= 576
      324+576= 900
     (900)^1/2= 30
hypotenuse= 30

C)( a^2/3*b^1/2)= 36*2(two sides)= 72
    (a^1/3b^3/4)=24
    (a^2/3*b^1/4)= 18
  72+24+18+30(hypotenuse)= 144=perimeter

calvin and susie baked some cookies in the ratio of 3 : 7. calvin baked 60 fewer cookies than susie. how many cookies did they b
kow [346]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Ratio of cakes baked by Calvin and Susie = 3 : 7

Cakes baked by Calvin = 3x

Cakes baked by Susie = 7x

Cakes baked by Calvin = Cakes baked by Susie - 60

3x = 7x - 60

7x - 60 = 3x

7x        = 3x  + 60

7x - 3x = 60

      4x  = 60

        x = 60/4

x = 15

Cakes baked by Calvin = 3*15 = 45

Cakes baked by Susie = 7 *15 = 105

Total cakes baked = 45 + 105 = 150

They both baked 150 cakes altogether.

A giraffe can run 40 meters per second what is its speed in miles per hour
lora16 [44]
Bearing in mind that, there are

60 seconds in 1 minute,
60 minutes in 1 hr,
1000 meters in 1 km,
and 1.609 km in 1 mile

\bf \cfrac{40\underline{m}}{\underline{s}}\cdot \cfrac{60\underline{s}}{\underline{min}}\cdot \cfrac{60\underline{min}}{hr}\cdot \cfrac{\underline{km}}{1000\underline{m}}\cdot \cfrac{mi}{1.609\underline{km}}\implies \cfrac{40\cdot 60\cdot 60\cdot  mi}{hr\cdot 1000\cdot 1.609}
\\\\\\
\cfrac{144000mi}{1609hr}\approx 89.496581\frac{mi}{hr}

GIVING THE BRAINLIEST ANSWER
Ahat [919]

Answer:

(6,3)

Step-by-step explanation:

y=2/3 x - 1

y=-1/2 x + 6

Since both equations are equal to y, we can set them equal

2/3 x - 1 =-1/2 x + 6

We have fractions, so I will multiply by 6 to clear the fractions

6(2/3 x - 1) =(-1/2 x + 6)6

Distribute

4x -6 = -3x +36

Add 3x to each side

4x+3x -6 = -3x+3x +36

7x -6 = 36

Add 6 to each side

7x-6+6 = 36+6

7x = 42

Divide each side by 7

7x/7 = 42/7

x =6

Now we need to find y

y =2/3x -1

y = 2/3(6) -1

y = 4-1

y=3

Products of equal value totaling $480 are sold to an audience of an unknown amount of people. the entrance fee is $10 per person
Sholpan [36]
Y = \frac{10x+480}{x}

This is because the total cost is 10x + 480 and then that needs to be divided by the amount of people.
