I don't know if this is right but I hope this helps. This pulsar was later interpreted as an isolated, rotating neutron star. The energy source of the pulsar is the rotational energy of the neutron star. The majority of known neutron stars (about 2000, as of 2010) have been discovered as pulsars, emitting regular radio pulses.

A leaf fell from a tree branch. The path it followed is shown in the diagram below.
prisoha [69]

The leaf fell at the crooked path instead of straight down because air currents and gravity applied changing and unbalanced forces to the leaf.

<h3>What is an air current?</h3>

An air current is defined as the changes in atmospheric pressure that causes the movement of air from one area to another.

When a leaf is detached naturally from the tree, it won't fall straight down to the floor but will fall a distance away from the tree due to the action of air current and some unbalanced forces.

Shelby the Skater's rocket provides a forward force of
DochEvi [55]

Answer:

a=3.17\ m/s^2

Explanation:

Given that,

Force force acting on the Skater's rocket is 220 N

Resistive force acting on it, F' = 30 N

Mass of Shelby, m = 60 kg

We need to find the acceleration of Shelby. Net force acting on Shelby is given by :

Net force = 220-30

= 190 N

The formula of net force is :

F = ma

a is acceleration of Shelby

a=\dfrac{F}{m}\\\\a=\dfrac{190}{60}\\\\a=3.17\ m/s^2

So, the acceleration of Shelby is 3.17\ m/s^2

A car moved 60 km East and 90 km West. What is the displacement? help me
galina1969 [7]

assume the east-west direction along the x-axis such that east lies in positive x-direction and west lie in negative Y-direction.

In unit-vector notation , individual displacement can be represented as

A = displacement of car in east direction = 60 i

B = displacement of car in west direction = - 90 i

D = total displacement of the car

Total displacement of the car is given as

D = A + B

inserting the values

D = 60 i + (- 90 i)

D = - 30 i

negative sign indicates the direction in west

hence net displacement is 30 km in west direction
