The correct answer is false.

It is false that the Eastern Roman Empire fell shortly after the Western Roman Empire.

The Eastern Roman Empire was known as the Byzantine Empire and started around 330 AD when Roman Emperor Constantine I moved the capital to Constantinople, the new Rome. The western Roman empire ended in 476 AD, but the Eastern Roman Empire continued until 1453 when the empire of Constantine XI was captured by the Ottomans.

WITCHER [35]

Answer:First Roads were improved, then Canals were built and finally the Railway was developed. Each change had an impact upon life in the country, each shortened travel times over longer distances and each enabled industrialists to seek new markets in previously out of reach areas of the country. Likewise they enabled more raw materials and goods to be shipped to and from factories, providing further impetus to the industrial age. Turnpike trusts were local companies that were set up to maintain roads. They were toll roads, where the user had to pay a fee (a toll) to make use of the road. These trusts were needed because the government did not finance things such as roads at the time. So it was cheaper not use roads because you had paid a fee.

magine you are Elizabeth Eckford, who is pictured in the front. Describe what is happening to you and how you feel about integra
Zielflug [23.3K]

As Elizabeth Eckford, I was discriminated on my first morning of school.  I prepared what I wore the night before and then the next day I got yelled at someone who doesn’t want me to go to school. I am a victim of discrimination. The integration was not the way I expected it to be.  I felt mistreated by almost everyone and I felt very disappointed with how they stared at me.

4- Going over the ratification debate between Federalists and anti-Federalist explain 2 main areas of conflict between these two
Volgvan

Answer:

Conflicts were regarding to the extraordinary power given to the president and the Senate which would have a tyrannical rule.

Conflict regarding the passage of the Bill of Rights.

Debates over ratification in the fall and winter of 1787 - 88.

Explanation:

According to the Philadelphia Convention - a new Constitution for United States provided for a strong government with an extraordinary amount of power given to the president and the senate. The Anti - Federalists charged that the new federal government resembled a monarchy in its concentration of power at the expense of liberty. The Federalists rejected the arguments of the Anti - Federalists by relocating it in the people. They on the other hand argued that since the constitution which represented the people had sought to instruct and control the institutions of government, thus all sovereignty rested with the people and that the Constitution did not need a bill of rights,

The Anti - Federalists held that a bill of rights was necessary to safeguard individual liberty.

Under the leadership of Madison, the first federal Congress attempted to fulfill this promise and proposed twelve amendments to the Constitution. In 1791, ten of them were ratified by the states, and these became the Bill of Rights.

Current implications:

In the United States,

1. There is a federal court system.

2. The lower house represented the people; it became the civic faith of the United States to which all Americans must unquestionably adhere. The emergence of this rambunctious middling democracy was the most significant consequence of the American Revolution.
