The main and largest island is called Cuba, and the second one is La Isla de la Juventud (the Isle of Youth). According to internet there are 4,195 cays, islets and islands that make up Cuba.

Formerly Isla de Pinos, the name of the island was changed to Isla de la Juventud by 1978, in virtue of the thousands of young students, from different parts of the world and from several provinces of Cuba, who attended the schools and worked in planatations of citrus.

This weekend my friends and I are going to the beach. I like the mountains, but my friends prefer to go to the beach. So we're going to Ocean City, New Jersey.
We go by car, because we live in Philadelphia and it's only an hour's drive. There are no buses or trains to the beach. and it is faster to go by car.
We decided to stay at the campsite very close to the beach. We bring food and a tent. It is much cheaper than going to a hotel. We will stay until Sunday because we have to go to school on Monday.

Este fin de semana mis amigos y yo vamos a la playa. Yo me gustan las montañas, pero a mis amigas prefieran ir la playa. Por eso, vamos a Ocean City, Nueva Jersey.
Vamos en coche, porque vivimos en Filadelfia y es solo una hora en coche. No hay autobuses o trenes a la playa. y es más rápido ir en coche.
Decidimos quedar en el camping muy cerca de la playa. Traemos la comida y una tienda de campaña. Es mucho más barato que ir a un hotel. Quedaremos hasta el domingo porque tenemos que ir a la escuela el lunes.
