The right answer is polar group attract another one.

Amphipathic, amphiphilic and amphipolar, synonymous terms, denote a molecule (usually organic) carrying both a hydrophilic group (able to bind to water) and a hydrophobic group ("who does not like water").

These molecules are surfactants, in that they modify the surface tension between two media. The active components of detergents and soaps are amphipathic molecules, whose double solubility is exploited, in water (thanks to hydrophilic groups) and in fatty media (thanks to hydrophobic groups).

The membranes of living cells are made of two layers of molecules of this type (phospholipids).

The statement must be mentioned in explaining why amphipathic molecules line up at a water surface is polar group attract one another.

Amphipathic molecule are those which have both polar and non-polar part. Example phospholipids have both polar and non-polar parts that is non-polar fatty acid tail and polar head.

Polar water molecule pull together , holding the polar parts of the amphipatic molecule and squeezing out the non-polar parts .That leave the non-polar parts in air .

matrenka [14]

The answer is A. One way for scientists to gather information about operons in organisms is by examining the genome sequence, such as by making use of the intergenic distance between frames to count the number of operons there is in the genome.

melomori [17]

Of the four globins that make up hemoglobin, two are identical and called alpha globins, and the other two are called beta globins and are also identical.

Structure of Haemoglobin

 • Each of the four subunits of hemoglobin has a polypeptide chain and a heme group.
 • The iron protoporphyrin IX prosthetic heme group, which is connected to a polypeptide chain with residues of 141 (alpha) and 146 (beta) amino acids, is present in all hemoglobins.
 • A histidine's N is linked to the ferrous iron of the heme. A polypeptide chain phenylalanine of the porphyrin ring wedges it into its pocket.
 • Alpha and beta chains, two varieties of the polypeptide chains that make up adult hemoglobin, are comparable in length but have different amino acid sequences.
 • Both adult and embryonic human hemoglobins have the same alpha chain.
