Using the documents provided, evaluate the causes of the rise of nationalism throughout the world during the period 1750-1900 CE
kirza4 [7]

Although the documents mentioned in the question are not included, we can still explain the causes of the rise of nationalism during this period using other sources.

The idea of a "nation" is a modern creation. This idea is widely different to how people thought of themselves in premodern times. Prior to the development of nationalism, people thought of themselves as subjects or followers of a leader. They also identified themselves with their family or village, rather than a large community.

Nationalism only became possible after people began feeling a connection to those who shared their own language, culture and traditions, even when they had never met them before. Two important causes of this were the ideas of liberalism and the Romantic movement.

An important catalyst for this was the rise of liberalism. Liberal ideology encouraged the idea of representation of people in government. Therefore, people began to identify themselves with the government, and to think of themselves as a common people within a political unity. The permanence of people meant that the state did not equal the ruling dynasty. Instead, the king might change, but the nation prevailed.

Nationalism was also born out of Romanticism, which encouraged a romantic view of culture, traditions and common history. It also created a romantic view of land and nationhood. Because of this, there was an attempt to redraw borders to permanently match cultural and linguistic boundaries. Moreover, nationalism encouraged the idea of self-determination.

You want to find new, high-value customers using their data. Which audience solution should you use?
katrin2010 [14]

Answer:

Affinity

Explanation:

If you want an audience that aligns with your product, you must choose the affinity method. This method picks up preferences of people through online browsing and then segregates people with similar interests and makes sure they are presented with content they might be interested in.

For example google uses this same strategy to find out peoples interests and then showing them what they want to see.

How did industrialization shape the nature of and expectations about family life?
hjlf

"<em>Urbanization as more and more people moved to cities to find work. It led to our modern ideas of consumer society, as people were able to begin to choose different brands to buy, based on everything from the price, to quality, to designs, patterns, and colors. Companies began to make different models of things in order to attract more buyers, so it could be seen as the beginning of modern capitalism. It led to an increase in technology, as more and more machines were invented and used to help increase the efficiency at which products were made, leading to lower prices and more availability. Also, it was the first time that a source of power, other than muscles power (human or animal,) was used to create products. It led to a more connected world, as new technology like trains, steam engines, and railroads that were designed to more quickly transport goods, were also used to better connect people. It helped establish the industrialized nations (mainly England and America) as the dominant world powers. It would eventually lead to more rights for workers and the concept of the modern working conditions we have, although at the start this would not have been true. It helped women begin to break the cult of domesticity, as  more and more young, unmarried women got jobs.</em>" according to Michael P.
