1. When was the last time you suppressed (deliberately held back) a thought or action? Tell what the nature of the emotion was (

anger, laughter, aggression, lust). Tell about the context you were in, and how the context played a part in your suppression. How did the situation unfold because of your suppression, how was it made better or worse? How would circumstances have unfolded differently if you had acted upon your emotions? Unlike suppression, repression occurs involuntarily and on an unconscious level so that we do not realize at the time that we are doing it. Freud claimed that suppression and repression are necessary for civilized society to exist. How does your experience support or refute this claim\

Answer:

1) When was the last time you suppressed (deliberately held back) a thought or action? Tell what the nature of the emotion was

- It was last month I held back my anger at my friend.I wanted to shout and scream at her but instead I decided to keep quiet.

We were supposed to meet around nine in the morning and she ended up showing up 2 hours later with no proper excuse .

2) Tell about the context you were in

-She had just finished her exams the day before which made me feel that she probably was tired after a night of studying and the stress of the exams;probably she overslept hence I had to be considerate of her situation.

We were also meeting in town and I personally don't believe in shouting at someone in a public place .

3) How did the situation unfold because of your suppression, how was it made better or worse?

-After a while I was calm , I forgot about it all and we ended up having the fun day that we had planned to have.

4) How would circumstances have unfolded differently if you had acted upon your emotions?

-If I had acted upon my emotions we probably would have fought and left without talking to each other which would have ruined both our day and all the plans we had.

5) How does your experience support or refute this claim\

- I think it depends on the situation of course there are moment where one needs to actual express their emotions otherwise a long time of supressing emotions may lead to serious issues in the future there are situation that may require that someone just burst out their emotions in order to release the stress or the pressure that they are feeling inside .

WINSTONCH [101]

Projects take a longer time with poor end products and, in worse situations, total project failure because of inconsistency in the tasks to be performed and order to perform that tasks.

What is a project task?

Basically, the task means the single unit of work that needs to be accomplished within a project while a project is the entire series of tasks that need to be completed together to accomplish a single outcome or goal.

In management, a project task is a work item or activity with a specific purpose related to the larger goal. It is the necessary step on the road towards project completion.

Therefore, the inconsistency of task causes projects to take a longer time with poor end products and, in worse situations, total project failure.

Spontaneous recovery definition psychology
lesya [120]
Spontaneous recovery means the reappearance of a previous extinguished response. For instance, Jon is scared of dogs because he thinks they look angry. After a long treatment, he finally gets used to play with the dogs. He is no longer afraid of dogs. However, one day he saw a dog walking towards him, he suddenly started to fear again. His fear was extinguished after the treatment, but he suddenly recovered that response again. This is more of an one time event.
