1. Find area of hexagon
Number of sides(area of triangle)
(6)1/2(11)(9.5)=313.5
Multiply by 2 since there are two hexagons
=627

2. Find area of the 6 rectangles
Number of sides(area of rectangle)
(6)(11)(20)=1320

3. Add area of both hexagons and the rectangles
627 + 1320= 1947

Therefore, the surface area of this prism is 1947
