From the beginning this passage talked about Faizula doing things for other people, not really looking for anything in return. He didn’t want to bother the person behind him by leaning his seat back, let other people go ahead even though he didn’t really want to. For a while it didn’t seem like he would catch a break but when he was nice to the guy selling roses, and he saw how it impacted him, all his niceness payed off.

I think the roses in the story represent the beauty that can come out of one kind act. It sounds cheesy but, in the story, it talked about how Faizula felt good about giving the man a smile and extra money, even though the whole day he was being kind to no avail. The man was trying to sell the roses to many people but each one shot him down, then when Faizula changed his mind and bought one it changed the man’s whole mood, and in a way gave him hope.

Faiula’s culture influences the story by creating a sort of guideline we know he must follow. Not only should one be always kind but self-disciplinary. He showed self-discipline when he didn’t break his fast and chose to focus on his work. Through out the story he was consistent with his actions and thoughts and that emphasizes how good of a person he really is.

Which of the following quotes from Orpheus and eurydice best shows the power of Orpheus music?
Degger [83]
For the first question the best quote emphasising the power of his music would be “His songs were so sad that no human could bear to listen to them”. As in they moved people to the point it hurt them to listen, because his music was that powerful. The first and second answer choice are just saying he’s skilled but not necessarily that it’s powerful and then the last answer choice isn’t saying anything about the music just that he was singing.

The other one I’m not as sure of but I believe it would be showing the strength of his love for his wife, it could be the second one but I would say it wasn’t. The last answer choice is to literal and it can’t be comparing his life to a life without his wife’s love because it isn’t a simile or a metaphor which are for comparisons.

After dominic peeled out of the parking lot in his new sports car, Sheralyn said "Im sure nobody will notice him now"
r-ruslan [8.4K]
The correct option is C.
From the sentence given above, it can be inferred that Sheralyn did not really like the idea that Dominic has a new sport car and she is probably feeling jealous of Dominic because of his car. When Dominic left the parking lot, Sheralyn was happy that people will no longer notice that Dominic has a new sport car.
So, Sheralyn was uttering the statement given in the question in order to express her strong feelings of jealousy but she said it in such a way that mask her true feelings.
