In this example, the scenario will be the fact that I have started high school. I believe that because of this, my curfew should be different. This is an example of a dialogue that would discuss this:

Me: "Mom, dad. I want to talk to you."

Parents: "Sure. What is it?"

Me: "But please, listen to the end. I was just thinking that maybe I deserve to have a later curfew now."

Parents: "Ok...."

Me: "It's just that, now that I have started high school, I really feel mature enough to manage my own time. I think that school's is going to be much tougher and I will have more work. So I also deserve more time to relax. And if my curfew is different, then I will have more time to do the things I want."

Parents: "Well... we'll think about it."

Me: "Please, consider it. I will also be making more friends, and spending time with them is also important. I promise I will take care of school and my grades."

Parents: "Ok, let's try it for a month, and see how it goes."

Me: "Thank you!"

One of the best ways to o one of these is have a parent talk with you.

EX:  "Mom, dad, I believe I should have a later curfew."

"Why"

then tell them. If it is one of the teachers that want a lot of detail, mention where you are with the adults, and etc..

Answer:

B. They show how Jewish people became the target of  hatred during World War II.

Explanation:

Paragraphs 5 and 6 contribute to the development of the idea in the text by showing how Jewish people became the target of hatred during World War II. In fact, it reveals that the Jewish were seen to be the cause of Germany's problems. They were maltreated and tortured. Hitler came up with the final solution to exterminate the Jews. He created more concentration camps in order to throw the Jews there and leave them to die of hunger and disease. The Jews became the target of hatred during World War II.

For this project, you will have several choices! Choose ONE (1) of these three options:
Fudgin [204]

The above question wants to analyze your reading and writing ability. For that reason, I can't write an answer for you, but I'll show you how to write it.

First, you must choose one of the prompt options that the question provided. I advise you to choose the first prompt, as it is easier and faster to answer.

In any of the prompts, you will be required to read the texts your questions refer to. In this reading, you must interpret these texts and analyze all their nuances. You can consult articles that analyze these texts and help you understand them more deeply.

Using the first prompt as an example, you can write your answer like this:

  • Introduction: Present a short introduction to each text.

  • Body: Write two paragraphs. In the first paragraph, you will show the similarities between the texts. In the second paragraph, you will show the differences. These similarities and differences should be made based on theme, structure, characters, tone, mood, and any other element of the text.

  • Conclusion: Show your perception of the text and the importance that their analysis promotes to the reader.

Which statement best describes the Gothic content of Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter? An unorthodox family struggles to be togeth
xenn [34]

Answer:

The statement that best describes the Gothic content of Hawthorne's "The Scarlet Letter" is:

D. Characters struggle with the ownership of sin, the shame of sin, and the vengeance of sin.

Explanation:

<u>There are several themes explored in Gothic literature, and sin is among them.</u> In Hawthorne's <u>"The Scarlet Letter", set in Puritan Boston of the 1600's</u>, sin is the definitely the main theme. Of course, since the book was published in 1850, the concept of sin had been greatly altered. While<u> the characters in the story suffer terribly from the accusations of being sinners</u>, or the fear of being accused to be so, the society that actually read the book saw them as human beings who make mistakes and deserve forgiveness.

<u>The main character, Hester Prynne, is shamed for being an adulteress. She is punished and shunned by a vengeful society. The very man who had an affair with her, on the other hand, hides his sin, afraid of owning up to it and being punished as well.</u> For that reason, we can choose letter D as the best option: Characters struggle with the ownership of sin, the shame of sin, and the vengeance of sin.
