The correct option is C.
The marine biome is the largest biome in the world and is made up of five different oceans. The marine biome is always affected by changes in the wave motion of water, salinity and the atmospheric pressure. The changes can either affect the organisms living in the biome either negatively or positively depending on the direction and the intensities of these changes.

Answer:

Taking more samples from different parts of an acre.

Explanation:

Validity and accuracy of the data is crucial for any serious research. In this particular case, the most accurate data would be obtained if earthworms would be counted on the whole acre. Of course, this would consume lot of time, people, money etc. That's why methods for estimation are used. Estimation best works with large number of samples. Since one acre equals over 4000 square meters, taking only five samples from such a big area is simply not enough for obtaining valid data.

One of the possible ways to improve estimation is to take more samples per acre while avoiding taking adjacent samples because it could be possible that number of earthworms in one part of an acre is increased (or decreased) for any reason, which would lead us to wrong conclusion.

Answer:

Step 1: Pollination

In general, male gametes are contained in pollen, which is carried by wind, water, or wildlife (both insects and animals) to reach female gametes. The pollen is deposited on a plant's stigma, which is part of the pistil (the elongated part of a flower extending from the ovary). This process is called pollination.

Step 2: Germination

Within a few minutes, pollen tubes begin growing, or germinating, toward the egg cell. These tubes will provide a path for the sperm carried in the pollen to reach the egg.

Step 3: Penetration of the Ovule

The pollen tubes penetrate the ovule, which contains the female gametes.

Step 4: Fertilization

Sperm travel down the pollen tubes and fertilize an egg. Most angiosperms undergo double fertilization, where both an egg and the polar nuclei in the embryonic sac are fertilized.
