As given,

The diameter of one glass bead = 0.4 cm

As the beads are stringed/attached end to end that means a straight line of beads (diameter) can be imagined and adding up all the diameters or multiplying the diameter with total number of beads, we can get the total length of the necklace.

Hence, the length can be found as =

10000\times0.4=4000 cm

or converting this in meters we get \frac{4000}{100}=40 meter

Hence, the necklace will me 40 meters long.

She wishes to estimate the proportion of horses with enteroliths who are fed at least two flakes of alfalfa per day. In a sample
pogonyaev

Answer:

0.0594.

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard error of a proportion p, in a sample of size n, is given by:

SE_{p} = \sqrt{\frac{p(1-p)}{n}}

In a sample of 62 horses with enteroliths, she finds 42 are fed two or more flakes of alfalfa.

This means that n = 62, p = \frac{42}{62} = 0.6774

So

SE_{p} = \sqrt{\frac{p(1-p)}{n}}

SE_{p} = \sqrt{\frac{0.6774*0.3226}{62}} = 0.0594

So the correct answer is:

0.0594.

True or False ,. . The slope of a line will depend on which of the two points you choose to call (x1, y1) and which you choose t
Sophie [7]
False

lets say u have 2 sets of points (1,2) , (3,4)
now lets say (1,2) is (x1,y1) and (3,4) is (x2,y2)
slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
slope = (4-2) / (3-1) = 2/2 = 1

now, lets say (1,2) is (x2,y2) and (3,4) is (x1,y1)
slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
slope = (2 - 4) / (1 - 3) = -2/-2 = 1

in conclusion, the naming of the points will not effect the slope
