The price revolution constitutes a perior characterized by high rate of inflation in Europe which lasted from late 15th century to mid-17th century. An extreme increase in praces of goods took place in that period. The inflation rate (between 1-1.5%) may seem tiny in the 20th century, but given the monetary standards of the 16th century, the rate was extreme.
