What is the "second shift"? Arriving at your second job (2 sources of income) When men work all day, and then must come home to
ehidna [41]

Answer: When women work all day, and then must come home to tackle household chores and parenting responsibilities.

Explanation: The "second shift" is the coin of sociologist Arlie Hochschild and Anne Machung, which they used to describe the burden of home work and the care of children, unfairly and disproportionately transferred to women, who in addition have a regular, paid, first shift, job. The second shift involves all household tasks for almost as long as a regular paid job lasts. That is why these household jobs are known as the second shift.

julia-pushkina [17]

The text includes information that hunters and tourists killed Buffalo for sport, hides and skins. This threatened the survival of the Native Americans as they relied on their skin and meat for their survival.

For hundreds of years, Native Americans relied on buffalo for their survival and well-being, using every part of the buffalo for food, clothing, shelter, tools, jewelry and in ceremonies.

To Americans buffalo also represent their spirit and remind them of how their lives were once lived, free and in harmony with nature. From beard to the tail, American used every part of it.

Who was the main aggressor during the cold war and why?

I will award you with the brainiest
Dimas [21]
"Aggressor" is a fairly political and loose term. I believe they were both proportionally bad in the situation. However since you are likely looking for an argument for one side, I suppose I would have to go with the USSR. They started the Berlin blockade which both violated treaties and nearly led to a large war. At the time in Russia, if anyone disagreed with their secular agenda or government they would be exiled. I think it's important though to again point out that contrary to popular belief, both sides got into unwanted wars and did aggressive things during the time and neither should be dubbed the only "aggressor"
