Some examples of iambic pentameter include:

But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. (William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet)

Her vestal livery is but sick and green And none but fools do wear it; cast it off. (Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet)

And I do love thee: therefore, go with me; I'll give thee fairies to attend on thee, And they shall fetch thee jewels from the deep, And sing while thou on pressed flowers dost sleep; (Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream)

Why do you think Sue Monk Kidd chose to have Lily narrate this story? (secret life of bees)
marishachu [46]
Hello!

I believe the correct answer is because it would have been way different with T. Ray, because he would've looked for Lily, so it wouldn't be the same.

I hope this is correct and you find it helpful! :)

what is ironic about miss prism's expressing concern for jack and admiration for his devotion to his brother? what kind of irony
Rama09 [41]

This is the story entitled "The Importance of Being Earnest".

Miss Prism's expressing concern for Jack and admiration for his devotion to his brother are ironic because she knows from the start that Jack’s pretences of having a brother are eventually real. He then finds out that Algernon is his younger brother upon questioning Miss Prism at the last part of the story.

The story is an example of situation irony because the audience did not expect that Jack has a brother and that it will be Algernon, as opposite to their expected ending.
