The Waganer Act. The act legalized the right to strike, barred employers for firing worker for their union activities, and required them to negotiate in good faith with a union once it had been certified as a bargaining agent by the National Labor Relations Board.

The Social Security Act placed a tax of 2 percent on labor at a time when unemployment in the United States exceeded 15 percent. Raising the cost of labor at a time when millions of people were out of work was not a policy likely to get more people back to work.

CAN YOU GUYS HELP ME? What should I do to explain anthropology, archaeology, and paleontology? I'm begging you because this is f
Greeley [361]

Alright..so

>> Anthropology: "is the study of humanity through the application of biology, cultural studies, archaeology, linguistics, and other social sciences."

>> Archaeology: "is the study of the ancient and recent human past through material remains."

>> Paleontology is pretty much the study of ancient life

Before you begin writing about each of the topics write the definitions. Maybe even add names of people who discovered it. Add interesting facts. When you find stuff to write about after doing research your paragraphs (if you're doing an essay) quickly fill up and you overall have more to talk about.

Hope this helped.

How might the united states be different both domestically and internationally had the south won the civil war ?
slavikrds [6]
That means that slavery could’ve lasted longer if the south won the Civil War. If the Union hadn’t stayed together – that is, if the United States had broken into two – then it’s likely that other regions of the US would have taken advantage of Confederate secession or would have seceded themselves, either from the then-existing North or the South. So you could certainly see an independent Midwest, and the area from California through to Washington state probably could have made itself its own place. Even within the Confederacy, there were certainly sections like East Tennessee that were vigorously Unionist during the war, and which might have pulled away.
Hopefully this helped.

The major difference between an expalnatory thesis and an argumentative thesis is that:
sleet_krkn [62]

Question: the major difference between an explanatory thesis and an argumentative thesis is that: Th major difference between an explanatory thesis and an argumentative thesis is that:

Answer: Argumentative essays, as the name implies, is an essay in which you argue for something. Questions are often based on a selected issue like: “Is science important in our lives”, to which you will have a thesis and anti-thesis statement, supported with facts and reasoning. Most academic essays are in this format as well. Expository on the other hand is more like creative writing. As the name implies, you are trying to expose or express something. This can be a short narrative story to a question like : “What was your best birthday ever?” or a mock letter to the question of : “You bought something online and noticed that the product was damaged. Write a letter to the manager to seek for an exchange or refund.”

Describe at least three differences between fans and customers
tester [92]

Answer:

The difference between the customer who just bought the product and the client who is crazy about this product or brand is huge, even if the nominal amount of the purchase is the same. In other words, an ordinary customer’s dollar is not equal to a eager fan’s dollar. There is a formal way of dividing customers into categories - the Net Promoter Score (NPS). NPS measures customer loyalty and satisfaction. Moreover, an index value of minus 100 means that all customers are critics, and plus 100 means that all customers are promoters of this product/brand.

The main thing for the consumer is the product’s functionality, ease of use, simplicity, high-quality satisfaction of needs. For the fan, the emotional effect of owning and using the product is of great importance.

An important practical consequence of the foregoing is that working with consumers and fans, understanding their needs requires completely different skills and it is advisable that people with relevant experience and knowledge engage in this activity.

People are becoming more demanding. A quick service or a meaningless gift will no longer cause the customer to return and all the more so to become a fan. But the combination of good service and positive emotions is still "addictive. "
