Examine the series in consecutive pairs.

-101 + 102 = 1

-103 + 104 = 1

-199 + 200 = 1

The second number of the pairs go from 102 to 200 so there are (200 -102) / 2 + 1 = 49 + 1 = 50 pairs

Answer = the value is 1 * 50 = 50

3 (x -1) = 5x +3 -2x
Vika [28.1K]

Steps to solve:

3(x - 1) = 5x + 3 - 2x

~Distribute left side

3x - 3 = 5x + 3 - 2x

~Combine like terms

3x - 3 = 3x - 3

~Subtract 3x to both sides

-3 = -3

~Add 3 to both sides

0 = 0

All real numbers are solutions.

Best of Luck!
