A line passes through the points (7, 10) and (7, 20). Which statement is true about the line? It has a slope of zero because in

the formula is zero, and the numerator of a fraction cannot be zero. It has a slope of zero because in the formula is zero, and the denominator of a fraction cannot be zero. Slope formula: \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}
Apply.
\frac{20-10}{7-7} =  \frac{10}{0} = undefined (No slope)

Thus, that answer is: Choice D.

If you're wondering why C isn't this answer, it's because  it doesn't matter if 0 is the numerator of a fraction. If it was, then the slope would be 0 regardless. However, if 0 takes place in the denominator, the slope will be undefined; there will be no slope.

Enter the coordinates of the vertices of r(180,0) and t(3,-2) (QRST) will give crown
Viktor [21]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

From the graph attached,

Coordinates of the vertices are,

Q(1, 3), R(3, -3), S(0, -2) and T(-2, 1)

Following the rule of translation by 3 units to the right and 2 units down T_{(3, -2)}

(x, y) → (x+3, y-2)

Q(1, 3) → Q''(4, 1)

R(3, -3) → R"(6, -5)

S(0, -2) → S"(3, -4)

T(-2, 1) → T"(1, -1)

Following rule r_{(180,\text{O})} (rotation of a point by 180° about the origin) will give the image points,

(x, y) → (-x, -y)

Q"(4, 1) → Q'(-4, -1)

R"(6, -5) → R'(-6, 5)

S"(3, -4) → S'(-3, 4)

T"(1, -1) → T'(-1, 1)

Write down the equation of a line that is parallel to the x-axis and passes through (-2, 5).
Rudiy27

Answer:

y = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

If the line is parallel to the x-axis, regardless of the value of x, the value of y must remain at y = 5.  Therefore, x can be any number, (x,5), including -2.

Find all polar coordinates of point p where p = (6, -pi/5)
Lelu [443]
Given a point in coordinates form (r,\theta), one can compute the cartesian form like this:
(r\cos\theta,r\sin\theta )
We have:
r=6,\theta=-\dfrac{\pi}{5}
We get the cartesian form then:
\left(6\cos-\dfrac{\pi}{5},6\sin-\dfrac{\pi}{5}\right)
