Hello!

Tetracycline shouldn't be used in younger patients because of its effects on their teeth and bones.

In teeth, the drugs interfere with enamel development may cause a permanant yellow or gray or brown discolouration. In bone, the drugs form a stable compound in bone-forming tissue and may interfere with bone growth.

It may also harm a fetus under two months of pregnancy because of systemic sulfonamides.

I really hope this helped you out! :)

Classify each statement based on whether it describes prokaryotes only, eukaryotes only, or can describe both prokaryotes and eu
Phantasy [73]

Answer:

unicellular - both prokaryotes and eukaryotes

contain mitochondrion - eukaryotes only

are generally less than 2 pm - Prokaryotes only

multicellular - eukaryotes only

lack membrane-bound organelles - prokaryotes only

Explanation:

Prokaryotes are generally unicellular, that is, they are made up of single cells only. However, there are unicellular and multicellular eukaryotes with some eukaryotes like humans and advanced plants having as many as millions of cells.

Prokaryotes generally lack nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles such as chloroplast and mitochondrion. Eukaryotes on the other hand have nucleus and membrane-bound organelles such as mitochondrion and chloroplast.

When it comes to size, prokaryotes are generally small and microscopic while eukaryotes consist of both microscopic and macroscopic cells or organisms. However, prokaryotes are generally smaller than microscopic eukaryotes.

Hypothesize why only one genus and species remains in the hominin group
laiz [17]
Modern humans have been around for a very short period of time. There are differences in race, asian people tend to be smaller, stuff like that. The problem is different races marry and those genes mix. If Asians only married pure blood Asians, Africans only married and procreated with other Africans thanks in hundreds of thousands of years different sub species would most likely start to occur. Seeing as how human population is all connected today, that won't happen.
