If 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 are multiples of 3 between 1 and 20, and 5, 10, 15 and 20 are multiples of 5 between 1 and 20, then you add the amount of multiples together to get 10.

10 over 20 as a fraction can be simplified to 1 over 2 which is 50%.

This means that there is a 50% chance of drawing out a multiple of 3 or 5.

I hope this helps

Can you please explain how to solve this?
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer:

18

Step-by-step explanation:

hello,

as this is a parallelogram we can write that BE = DE so

15x + 4 = 9x + 6

<=> 15x - 9x + 4 = 6

<=> 6x = 6 - 4 = 2

<=> x = 2/6 = 1/3

so BE = DE = 15/3+4=5+4=9

so BD = BE + DE = 9 + 9 = 18

the correct answer is 18

hope this helps

Solve the problem by multiplying first. A clothing store is having a sale on shirts and jeans. Four shirts and two pairs of jean
ella [17]

We will solve this by suing simultaneous equations,

⇒ 5s + 3j = 87

    4s + 2j = 64

Multiply the first equation with 4 and the second one with 5, this is to get one of the values equal so that we can cancel them out,

⇒ (5s + 3j = 87) × 4

    (4s + 2j = 64) × 5

∴ ⇒ 20s + 12j = 348

       20s + 10j = 320

Subtract both the equations. This is how your result (after subtraction) should look like,

  ⇒ 2j = 28

∴ ⇒ j = $14

Now replace the value of 'j' in one of the original equations,

⇒ 4s + 2(14) = 64

⇒ 4s + 28 = 64

⇒ 4s = 64 - 28

⇒ 4s = 36

∴ ⇒ s = $9

Therefore, one pair of jeans cost $14 and a shirt costs $9

Hope you understood! Feel free to ask me if you didn't understand a step.

A research team hypothesizes that setting weekly scheduled online interactions versus not setting such interactions can boost th
leva [86]

Answer:

Type I error occurs when the null hypothesis, H0, is rejected, although it is true.

Here the null hypothesis, H0 is:

H0: Setting weekly scheduled online interactions will boost the well being of people who are living on their own during the stay at home order.

a) A Type I error would be committed if the researchers conclude that setting weekly scheduled online interactions will not boost the well being of people who are living on their own during the stay at home order, but in reality it will

b) Two factors affecting type I error:

1) When the sample size, n, is too large it increases the chances of a type I error. Thus, a sample size should be small to decrease type I error.

2)A smaller level of significance should be used to decrease type I error. When a larger level of significance is used it increases type I error.
