The statement above is TRUE. Reproduction issues are not  private matter between sexual partners because they have to discuss together on these issues, since it affect the two of them. Take the issue of child bearing for instance, a man and a woman has to decide on the number of children they want and the time at which they will be born. They have to agree on the type of family planing to use to prevent pregnancy.

Maria is a 121-lb endurance athlete who is planning to employ carbohydrate loading before her next race. Which strategy correctl
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

Four to six days prior to the event, Maria should consume 550 g of carbohydrate daily and decrease to 220 to 275 g of carbohydrate daily 1 to 3 days prior to the event.

Explanation:

Carbohydrate loading is for constant  supply of  constant energy as ATPs for the skeletal muscles cells during high intense activity, to reduce fatigue, and increase performance for upmost performance.

The   main objective  is to  sustaining muscle  contraction during intense  exercise

The practice   involved increase in   intake of high carbohydrate meals  a   few weeks before the commencement of the sporting activities. This is stored  as  muscle glycogen, as well as in the  liver glycogen and brain.

The physiology involved  the conversion of  muscle glycogen  to glucose -6-phopahate in the liver, and its entry  into Glycolysis, and Krebs’s cycle to generate ATPs.

The use of muscle glycogen during strenuous exercise reduces   blood glucose uptake, and ensured that its level is at a relatively constant value for the body homeostatic conditions, without exogenous carbohydrate intake

Consider formula A to be v = and formula B to be v2 = G. Write the letter of the appropriate formula to use in each scenario. De
suter [353]
The formulas that will be used are:

Situation one:
The moon will be experiencing gravitational force in the form of centripetal force, so we equate the two formulas.

Gravitational force = GMm /r²
Centripetal force = mv²/r

Equating,
GMm/r² = mv²/r
v² = GM/r

The first scenario will use the formula v² = GM/r

Situation 2:
The second situation will use the simple distance over time formula for velocity, where the distance will be the circumference and the time will be in seconds.

v = 2rπ/t
