But I'd say the TYPICAL American dream is to get a stable, good paying job, marry the person you love, have two kids, and live in a big nice house. The obstacles you would have to overcome are possibly school fees, working and getting along with people, raising your kids right. I'm not sure about the thesis and supporting details because like I said, not my dream. It's yours.
