Prostate cancer affects only men and it involves abnormal growths in the prostate. The prostate is an important part of the male reproductive system as it a small walnut sized shape organ gland which nourishes and transport the sperm to the eggs for fertilization. When prostate cancer occurs, it leads to painful urination, blood in Urine and semen and as a result unhealthy sperm and infertility. It is common in old people.

Endometriosis affects women and involves the external growth of tissues which are meant to line the uterus. This external growth affects the ovaries and Fallopian tube and prevents the eggs from fertilization and to an extent implantation of the zygote to the uterus.

Both genders can reduce their risk of reproductive health illness by avoiding unprotected intercourse and regular check-ups.
