There are cultures in which teenagers cannot date. These cases occur in extremely religious countries where contact and even friendship between boys and girls from different families is strictly prohibited. With that, teenagers do not date. There are even cultures that allow an arranged marriage where the bride and groom only know each other on their wedding day.
