4 0

Answer:

m∠1 = 85°, m∠2 = 85°, m∠3 = 64°, m∠4 = 31°

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Since ∠3 and the angle labeled 64° are vertical, they are congruent, therefore m∠3 = 64°

2. By the same logic, since ∠4 and the angle labeled 31° are vertical, they are also congruent, meaning m∠4 = 31°

3. ∠4, ∠1, and 64° make up 180°, thus a straight line around them, so m∠1 + 31° + 64° = 180° --> m∠1 = 85°

4. ∠1 and ∠2 are vertical, so they are congruent, meaning m∠2 = 85°

A scuba diver wants to descend at an average rate of at least 7 feet per minute for 5 minutes. The table shows how many feet the
gladu [14]

The scuba diver must descend 3 feet in the fifth minute to meet the goal.

Why?

To find how many feet does the scuba diver need to descend to reach the goal of 35 feet in 5 minutes, we need to calculate how many feet he did descend on the first 4 minutes.

So, calculating we have:

FirstMinute=9ft\\SecondMinute=11ft\\ThirdMinute=5ft\\FourthMinute=7ft\\Total=9ft+11ft+5ft+7ft=32ft\\\\Goal=35ft\\\\Needed=Goal-Total(4Minutes)\\\\Needed=35ft-32ft=3ft

Hence, we can see that at the 4 minute, he has only descended 32ft. It means that he need to descend 3 feet more in the fifth minute.

Have a nice day!

Shalnov [3]
The amount of South Carolina Farms in the US is 24000/2172000
     → 24 000 ÷ 2 172 000 = 0.1104972
     → To convert into a percentage: 0.1104972 x 100 = 11.04972
     → Round 11.04972 to 11 (nearest whole percent)

      ∴ The percentage of farms in South Carolina is 11%

heyy soo i just started math class and im veryy confused I've tried different things to get to the answer but it didn't work soo
german

yes sure, i learned this before so

1. a. make a proportion here, of percentage. \frac{225}{250} =\frac{x}{100} if you cross multiply and divide you get 90%.

1. b. obviously the empty seats would be 10%.

2. a. proportion again, \frac{0.90}{6.00} =\frac{x}{100} cross multiply then divide you ge 15%

3. 30% in decimal form is 0.3. multiply it then to the total amount, so 0.3 x 15 = 4.5
